Hello. I turn 20 today, and yes it calls for a celebration. But I'm at work, all my friends at work or in camp. Bf's in camp. Family working, brother in school. So, I'm at work right now. But you know what, I'm quite happy. I got a hug, wishes and a happy birthday block from my colleague. I think the block is damn cute. Thanks guys. Prolly going out for dinner with family tonight. Tomorrow, meeting Vithya and Rekha. Monday meeting Thevita and Vithya.

Anyway, my parents and brother are getting me a ipod touch!!! I'm damn happy. Whoo, now my wish list is almost empty. I got my Polaroid, Ipod touch (end of this month, cus its not out in Singapore yet. Ordered online.) and a COACH bag.

I feel so loved right now. My fb is flooded with wishes and so is my phone. I just somehow thought that this year was gonna be a bore, but you know what? Things couldn't get any better. Although this year cannot beat my 18th. I still love it.

It made me think about my life this past 20 years. It seems really long, but it really isn't. I'm pretty contented with my 20 years. I graduated from primary school, got into secondary school did reasonably okay for O'levels without failing anything or repeating. Got 7credits, got into poly, made new friends. Graduated without failing or repeating any modules. Now working at one of my dream companies, A*STAR. Somehow i feel that my life is good to go. And starting my degree next month and completing it next year. Hopefully i do well, and get a better job in the same company. Get paid better and go on to do my masters. Get married. Do PhD before i go old, and enjoy life traveling with my life companion.

I know it may seem abit far-fetched. But trust me, nothing is impossible.  Life is actually reaslly short if you take one close look at it. cus at some point of time you wanna turn back and see you made something out of your life. Instead of bumming around all your life, make it meaningful. Different people has different defination of a "meaningful life". Carve your life the way you want it. As long as you turn back, and like what you see. Then you're happy to go. Don't allow regrets to take over. Life's really to short for these other crap. It really is.

My life is pretty much planned well. It's not what i wanted, but somehow i planned around it. I didnt wanna work and do a part time degree, i wanted to go Australia do my degree. But it's to Expensive and right now it's out of my reach. So i planned around it. Doing a degree and working. Somehow juggling. But i know i'll be okay. And I'll eventually save up enough money to go Australia to my postgrad. Perhaps after 2013?

You do get to do what you want. It's just that sometimes time or money don't permit you. So, don't give up dreaming. Like they say when one door closes the other opens. So keep seeking other ways, until you found yours, like how i found mine. (:

Only future holds the truth.

Well, for now I'm off. See you folks.
much love, and thanks to everyone who wished me again.
XOXO(:

Hello world.

I love my friends. No, I'm not just saying it cause they got me a birthday gift, but cus they really did surprised me. They got my bf to bring me out, and act like its a normal date. And get him to bring me for dinner at paragon. And made Ryzzal call me to ask if me and Mathan wanna join them in town, cus apparently they came to shop for Mathan. And i not suspecting anything just went to meet them. And suddenly saw a cake in-front of me after dinner. And they bought me a polaroid. Something I've been wanting for a long time. They just made my day, and my week. Thanks guys.

Say hello to my new polaroid. (:

Also, my aunt got me a COACH handbag. I like it.

Birthday is another 3 days away. Bosses not in this week, so more breaks less work. YAY!

"crush". It’s funny how the same word for the feeling of disappointment can be used for the feeling of attraction. The Oxford English Dictionary states one of the meanings for the word crushed as “a strong and unreasoning, but transitory attachment.

So many birthday's this month. Going brokeee.

And I find myself compelled to agree.
"Love isn’t as complicated as we make it out to be. It’s the most simple, most elemental, most pure, most beautiful feeling, emotion, thingamajig, whatever you want to call it that beats in our hearts. Unfortunately, it’s also the most intangible sentiment. We can’t quantify it. Your ‘I love you so much’ could be so much less than my ‘I love you so much’ and there’s no way to prove who loves who more and therein lies the whole fucking problem. We’re never happy with how we’re loved. We complicate things. We make things difficult. We expect too much. We receive too little. We can’t accept that so we prod and push and ask for more and when we don’t get what we want, we question their love and affection because they don’t love us the way we love them. They don’t love us the way we were told they should. They don’t love us the way we want to be loved and we don’t believe anymore. We lose faith. We allow ourselves to be consumed by hatred, by anger, by desire, by greed, by anxiety, by insecurity and we give up even before we try. It really isn’t all that difficult to love. We just have to love unconditionally, love selflessly, love altruistically, love acceptingly. We just have to love them the way we can, the way we know how and allow them to love us the way they can, the way they know how. We just have to love loving them and love them loving us".

haha.

Is it really okay? Will it ever be okay? It seems to me that we will never ever be perfect enough, or even just simply enough for anyone, especially ourselves. It’s good to keep the faith, that it’s okay not to be perfect. But lately, I’ve been reminded in more ways than I’d like, that it really isn’t okay. It’s never going to be okay. That one more reminder to myself that it’s okay not to be perfect is just going to be another lie I tell to myself to get through another day.

And i miss you more than expected. 1 more week.
